Ab-toning routines are crucial in obtaining that six pack you are desiring.  All the sit ups and crunches in the world is not going to give you a six pack if you have a large percent of body fat. You must burn body fat with frequent aerobic exercises such as running, swimming, jogging and cycling which are all excellent ways of burning belly fat. You must keep your heart rate elevated for at least 30 minutes before your body begins to burn stored fat.  The first 20 minutes of training, your body will be burning energy from the food in which you ate that day.
